Armenian residents among people least likely to report positive emotions – surve

Citizens of Armenia are one of the least positive people in the world, shows the survey conducted by Gallup.

Gallup measured positive emotions in 148 countries and areas in 2011 using five questions, such as: did you feel well-rested yesterday or did you small or laugh a lot yesterday.

The survey showed that only 49% of Armenia’s resident answered “yes” to the questions. Thus, Armenia is at the second-lowest spot leaving behind only Singapore (46%).

The happiest people in the world live in Latin America. In Panama and Paraguay, 85 percent of the respondents answered “yes” to all questions, putting those countries at the top of the list. They are followed by El Salvador, Venezuela and Trinidad and Tobago.
