A new round of talks between Armenia and the EU on the Association Agreement was held in Brussels on Wednesday. The Armenian delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan. The EU was represented by Gunnar Wiegand, the Director of the Eastern Partnership, Russia and the Western Balkans European External Action Service.
As the press service of Foreign Ministry informed Armenian News-NEWS.am, during the meeting the issues related to the structure, format, main and the final parts of the agreement, as well as political dialogue, foreign and security policy, justice sector were discussed.
The sides noted that talks on creation of free trade area are underway and are a part of the Association Agreement. The third round took place in early December.
