As a result of a consensus in the General Assembly of the United Nations Organization, Armenia has been accepted to the UN Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am was informed at the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, during the discussions of Armenia’s membership, Azerbaijan was trying to prevent this process.

However, as a result of diverse diplomatic work conducted by the Armenian side, on December 18 the General Assembly accepted Armenia to the UN Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space.

Thus, Azerbaijan has once again failed the program on Armenia’s isolation from the international community.
