YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Deputy PM and Territorial Administration Minister Armen Gevorgyan on Thursday received a World Bank (WB) delegation led by Ivan Drabek, head of the WB Social Investment Fund Project for Armenia.
The interlocutors discussed the avenues for continuing this project and its funding diversification by including other donors, Territorial Administration Ministry Public Relations Department informs. At present, the third phase of this project is being implemented, and it is planned to come to an end in June 2014.
Also, the discussants underscored the designing of the next development strategy, and agreed to examine these matters—and the WB proposals—with other interested agencies, as well.
In addition, they highlighted the importance of the Social Investment Fund Project for Armenia, and hoped for more of such effective cooperation in the coming years.
