YEREVAN.- Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) held a meeting on Tuesday evening with the participation of RPA parliamentary group members and activists from regional branches.
The party members discussed organizational issues concerning the upcoming presidential election, Armenian parliament vice speaker, spokesperson for RPA Eduard Sharmazanov told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Sharmazanov noted that the party set two tasks: to hold free, transparent and fair elections and to hold a campaign which will secure success of the incumbent president, presidential candidate Serzh Sargsyan.
The campaign kicks off on January 21 and will last till February 17.
