YEREVAN. – Georgian Premier Bidzina Ivanishvili held several high-level talks during his visit to Armenia on Thursday, but he did not meet with National Assembly (NA) Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, Zhamanak daily reports. 

“According to Zhamanak’s information, the PM of Georgia refused to meet with the [Armenian] parliament leader in advance. 

According to the rumors being circulated at NA, Ivanishvili is very displeased with Hovik Abrahamyan and several [of Georgia’s] Javakheti Armenian MPs, and he made his displeasure become understandable for Armenia’s authorities.  

They say Abrahamyan is carrying out, by way of Javakheti Armenian MP Vardan Ayvazyan, some activities in Javakheti. In addition, Ayvazyan likewise is conducting major business activities in Georgia; he cooperated in the shadow with former Georgian officials, also, with the former PM and the incumbent president,” Zhamanak writes.
