Car bomb killed at least 22 Shiite pilgrims and wounded 56 others near the Iraqi city of Karbala when millions of Muslims marked 40th day after Imam Hussein’s martyrdom anniversary.
The blast also destroyed three Iraqi army vehicles, Press TV reports.
According to foreign press, the bomb went off on a bridge.
Furthermore, Karbala center was bombed killing sixteen and injuring 30 people.
