Armenian government will never cut education spending, presidential candidate Serzh Sargsyan said addressing residents of Artik town, in Armenia’s Shirak Region.
Despite the importance of social, defense and other spending, particular importance is given to education.
”We are not a rich country. But, we will never spare resources for education. We are seeking funds to build new kindergartens. And this, of course, will reduce problems of our families,” he said during a campaign meeting.
Sargsyan pointed out creation of comfortable environment in the village and good conditions for children.
“We want to provide every first grader with a computer and high-quality Internet coverage,” he emphasized. President stressed that investing in education today means to have competitive workforce tomorrow.
