Feb. 12, Tbilisi international airport was paralyzed after Kazakh company aircraft skidded off the runway at 4:00 am local time.

The aircraft heading Almaty-Hong Kong with cargo on board had to refuel in Tbilisi, Georgia Online reports, referring to airport administration.

Presently, the aircraft with 55 tons of cargo is unloaded to be returned to the runway strip.

Special committee determinates the cause. Several international flights are canceled, plus airport failed to enplane two aircrafts from Europe, that eventually landed in Yerevan.

Not a single flight was made and numerous passengers are crowded at the airport, Rosbalt news agency reports.

According to official data, heavy snow also hinders the flights, that will probably resume by the midday, Georgian United Transport Administration informs.
