YEREVAN.- Speaker of the Armenian parliament Hovik Abrahamyan said he never wished to become a president.
Asked by reporters whether he may run for president in 2018, Abrahamyan said he had never been willing to.
To a remark whether he wants to take the post of Armenia’s premier, Speaker said “I wantedt to be a premier, but now I do not. The post of a speaker of the National Assembly is superior and better.”
Hovik Abrahamyan also denied rumors on his possible resignation.
