February 14, forty Armenian peacekeepers arrived in the city of Kunduz (Afghanistan) to exercise the peacekeeping mission within the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF).
Peacekeepers will provide security of the Kunduz city airport together with German servicemen, RA Defense Ministry press service informed NEWS.am. Armenian troops arrived in Afghanistan after undergoing 4-week training in Germany. Armenian contingent includes 36 infantrymen, 3 officers and a medical officer.
