YEREVAN. – For two days the opposition Heritage Party is holding consultation meetings with the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC), and with the agenda of the formats of political cooperation, Heritage’s spokesperson Hovsep Khurshudyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am

To the query as to whether any of the trilateral talk participants—that is, Heritage, opposition ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party, and Prosperous Armenia Party—is against ANC likewise joining these talks, Heritage’s representative responded as follows:

“I can answer for our [Heritage’s] part. We do not see any problem, and are not against [it].”

He added, however, that they are solely against the ruling Republican Party taking part in these talks.

Khurshudyan also informed that they have not yet decided on the order of their proportional list for the forthcoming capital city Yerevan Council election, and that he cannot yet say how realistic it is to run in this vote with a single list.

“The consultations are in progress. After today’s [Saturday] meeting, it will be clear how long these discussions will continue,” Hovsep Khurshudyan stressed.
