YEREVAN. – At the invitation of the Yerkir Union of Armenia, a delegation set up by the Municipality of Diyarbakir of Turkey will pay a visit to Armenia from Tuesday to Saturday. 

The delegation comprises well-known Diyarbakir-based Kurdish intellects and cultural figures, which also represent a variety of NGOs and associations.   

The Kurdish guests’ visit to Armenia is cognitive but, at the same time, it also pursues a practical objective: To discuss the prospects for carrying out joint cultural and research projects aiming to preserve and restore Armenian heritage in Turkey.
