YEREVAN.- Former presidential candidate Andreas Ghukasyan said the answers received in Constitutional Court during the hearings reflect situation in the country.

Talking to reporters on Wednesday, Ghukasyan said he was happy to be able to ask all the questions he wished.

“The society has zero confidence in elections and in the state itself. Violations seen by people, and those registered by the state agencies, are very different. The Central Electoral Commission has turned into a machine refusing to accept statements from opposition candidates,” Ghukasyan said.

In response to the question, what will be his next step, if he loses the case to the Constitutional Court, Ghukasyan noted that the demand that Serzh Sargsyan must resign will become political one.

“We will present a political claim. I will join with the political forces which will demand Serzh Sargsyan’s resignation,” he said.

Former presidential candidates Raffi Hovannisian and Andreas Ghukasyan in their claims demand that results of the presidential elections must be canceled.
