YEREVAN.- MP from the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) parliamentary group Nikol Pashinyan avoids making comments on local elections, as the debates are underway.

Pashinyan answered reporters’ questions after visiting hunger-striking former presidential candidate Raffi Hovannisian in Liberty Square.

He refused to comment on opposition’s participation with the joint proportional list as well as ANC’s participation.

Pashinyan stressed that the February 18 presidential elections led to dramatic changes in political system.

Asked by the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent about the meeting of Raffi Hovannisian with Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan, the MP shared the opinion that such meetings raise more questions than answers.
