YEREVAN. - Armenian government has prepared a negative conclusion on the legislative initiative of the MPs from Orinats Yerkir party Heghine Bisharyan and Hovhannes Margaryan. MPs proposed to adopt a law "On support of large families and the public promotion of mothers with many children".

The project provides support to families with four or more children. It is proposed to include a discount on utility bills by 50%, free medicines, benefits. It is proposed to give these families free apartments, and land in the countryside.

The report of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs said that the proposals do not come from a strategy of targeted social assistance. There are 15,000 families with many children in Armenia, of which 8,000 are receiving family allowance.
