TBILISI. – There is a political will to restore the railway link between Georgia and Russia via Abkhazia, but Georgia exhibits caution, Georgian PM Bidzina Ivanishvili stated during a press conference on Thursday.

“Considering the relations with Russia because of our occupied territories, this is a very sensitive topic; this matter should be resolved in this context,” he noted.

Ivanishvili also clarified that even though  Georgia will not stop using the term “occupation” when speaking about relations with Russia, he does not intend to offend Russia, Gruzia Online news agency of Georgia reports.

“We will be patient, and we will fight for the restoration of Georgia’s territorial integrity,” Bidzina Ivanishvili said.
