YEREVAN.- Leader of Prosperous Armenia Gagik Tsarukyan has no intention to purchase Armavia air company, his spokesperson Iveta Tonoyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
She said the recent press reports are untrue. If there are certain companies capable of tackling the problems and improving the air services, Mr. Tsarukyan welcomes them, she added.
Asked about Tsarukyan’s meeting with Armavia owner Mikhail Baghdasarov, spokesperson said she is unaware of the meeting.
Earlier Hraparak daily revealed some details about the meeting of Tsarukyan with Baghdasarov.
“The matter refers to the sale of Armavia. Tsarukyan plans to purchase [it], and he is convincing Baghdasarov that he declare it bankrupt, [and] the sale will ensue,” the daily wrote.
