YEREVAN. – Armenia’s opposition ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party will run in the capital city Yerevan Council election—which is slated for May 5—with an individual list, ARF Supreme Body (SB) representative Arsen Hambardzumyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
He noted that the list will be headed by SB representative Armen Rustamyan.
But ARF is not yet publicizing its complete list.
“The list is ready, [but] there are some technical matters; some changes are possible,” Hambardzumyan said, and added that they will submit the list to the Central Electoral Commission on Thursday.
To the query as to why the initiative to form a united opposition front was not brought to fruition, Arsen Hambardzumyan responded that there were differences in the respective methodologies.
