YEREVAN. – A report on the results of the Armenian parliamentary election, which was conducted on May 6, 2012, will be submitted to the National Assembly (NA), Central Electoral Commission (CEC) Chairman Tigran Mukuchyan told news reporters Monday in the NA.

As per Mukuchyan, the aforesaid document comprises overall organizational work and recommendations.  

“One of the recommendations refers to the formation of campaign funds. We are also proposing not using ink at all during the vote. That is, not putting stamps in the passports at all because it is an unnecessary institution.      

“We also are proposing making some changes in the Criminal Code, pursuant to which if a citizen that has received election bribe provides [respective] information to the law enforcement agencies, he [, or she,] will be freed from [criminal] accountability,” the CEC head stated.
