YEREVAN. – Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received Viktor Tsvirkun, the General Secretary of the Permanent International Secretariat of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC).

The interlocutors reflected on the current activities of BSEC, underscored the need to raise the effectiveness of the organization, and discussed the priorities of Armenia’s BSEC chairmanship, which the country will assume in July, the President’s Press Office informs. 

Sargsyan noted that Armenia always favors the deepening of regional integration processes and highlights BSEC’s role in this respect. 

President Sargsyan assured that, during Armenia’s BSEC chairmanship, efforts will be made to enhance the organization’s activities and to promote the interaction among the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation member states.
