YEREVAN.- Syrian Airlines will operate new Damascus-Qamishli-Yerevan flights starting from April 16.
Consequently, air communication between Armenia and Syria will be resumed, manager of Syrian Airlines’ Yerevan office Svetlana Hovhannisyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Forty-nine passengers will arrive in Yerevan from Damascus, and ten will fly to Syria. The ticket price went up by 10,000 AMD (about $23). The increase in prices is explained by entering Iran’s air space, since Turkey has banned flights to Syria through its territory.
