Armenia took the 120th place according to the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) 2009 table – rating issued by international Transparency International organization.

The rating comprises 180 countries. Kazakhstan, Bolivia, Ethiopia, Mongolia and Vietnam share 120th place with Armenia.

Russia and Ukraine take 146th place, Azerbaijan – 143, Tajikistan — 158, Kyrgyzstan – 162, Turkmenistan – 168, Uzbekistan – 174. The most corrupted countries are Afghanistan and Somalia, the least – New Zealand, Denmark, Singapore and Sweden.
