YEREVAN.- Armenia’s former leaders should not forget what they did with people for many years, incumbent Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan said.
Mayoral contender, representing Republican Party of Armenia, is confident this will be much more useful than criticizing others.
“It is easy to criticize when you personally created nothing. Let them look back at the past. And I have nothing to be ashamed of,” Margaryan told reporters on Monday.
He responded to criticism voiced by the opposition leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan who called mayor “a puppet” and accused him of corruption.
