YEREVAN. – On Tuesday, April 17, that is, on the birth anniversary of the late Karen Demirchyan—Armenia’s former National Assembly (NA) Speaker—, Constitutional Court President Gagik Harutyunyan paid a visit to capital city Yerevan’s Komitas Pantheon to pay tribute to the memory of Demirchyan.
To note, eight people, including NA Speaker Karen Demirchyan and then PM Vazgen Sargsyan, were killed as a result of the Armenian parliament shooting on October 27, 1999.
