YEREVAN. – The opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) Party plans to hold a rally on April 30 at capital city Yerevan’s Liberty Square. Yerevan Former Mayor Vahagn Khachatryan, who heads the ANC list for the forthcoming Yerevan Council election, noted this during a press conference on Wednesday.
He further informed that Armenia’s First President, ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan, likewise will attend and address the event.
Yerevan’s ex-Mayor, however, expressed a concern that the country has lost the urban citizen.
“If there is no clean city, you can never demand from the citizenry that they be clean,” the mayoral candidate said.
In addition, Vahagn Khachatryan set aside several problems connected with Yerevan, and stressed that power must be returned to the citizen.
