YEREVAN. – In a conversation with news reporters on Thursday, Armenia’s Education and Science Minister Armen Ashotyan denied the media information that he will be appointed Armenia’s Ambassador to France.

“When they disseminated this news the first time, I thought it was a joke. But when the press repeats [this news], it seems it very much wants to be rid of the Education and Science Minister for another—and more liked—figure, or it very much wants for me to be able to serve my knowledge of French for the foreign policy of Armenia.  

Twenty days are left for the setting up of the [new] Government, [and] I do not think the readers have a need to fill their agenda with my employment issues,” Ashotyan stated.
