YEREVAN. – Armenia’s indicator of economic activity increased by 8.7 percent in Jan.-March, as compared with the same period last year, Armenia’s National Statistical Service said.
As compared with the same period last year, the industrial output growth made 15.8 percent, while agriculture output growth – 2.3 percent. Construction volume deceased by 6.5 percent.
The sector of services registered a 7.1-percent growth. In March trade turnover comprised AMD 162.5 billion, registering a 13.6-percent growth as compared with February.
Average monthly nominal wages made AMD 145,800 —a 4.2-growth as compared with last March.
