In her words, the data on these persons are registered in the State Social Security Service, where the total number of pensioners also records as to how many of them are Genocide survivors.
In line with the aforesaid data, 43 of these 55 Genocide-surviving pensioners are women and 12 are men. At the end of 2011, a total of 97 Genocide-surviving pensioners were registered; 75 of them were women and 22 were men.
To note, with the decision of the Government of Armenia, the Genocide survivors in the country now receive a pension that is 150 percent of the one they received before plus they allocated a monthly monetary assistance.
