YEREVAN. – People must remember April 24 and the Armeian Genocide as an example for that barbaric cruel action which cannot be justified. Russian Ambassador to Armenia, Vyacheslav Kovalenko, stated this Wednesday while visiting capital city Yerevan’s Armeian Genocide Memorial, on the 98th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.    

“Many years will pass, but this day will remain in people’s recollection so that such tragedy will never be repeated. Today, we bow our heads before the memory of the innocent victims of the barbaric crime in Turkey. We will remember [it] always and will inform to those in Russia that do not know about this chapter of the Armenian people,” the Russian diplomat concluded.
