YEREVAN. – On the occasion of the 98th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, the Department of Social Security of the capital city Yerevan Municipality organized visits to all Yerevan residents that have survived the genocide.  

“Today, fifteen people that have survived the genocide live in the capital city. Ahead of [Wednesday,] April 24, the department’s visits and assistance to the genocide survivors have become traditional,” Department Head Ruzanna Zakaryan noted, and added that the assistance programs will be continuous.

In their turn, and thanking for the constant attention being provided to them, the Armenian Genocide survivors noted that they always feel the care and support by Yerevan Municipality.
