Armenian churches in Aleppo held liturgy on April 24 in memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey.
At noon in the Aghajanyan Hall the main commemoration ceremony was held, which was attended by representatives of the Armenian Apostolic, Catholic and Evangelical Churches and Armenian cultural unions. In the closing speech the Consul General of Armenia in Aleppo Karen Grigoryan highlighted the efforts of Armenia targeted at the international recognition of the Armenian Genocide, as well as prevention, condemnation and elimination of similar crimes.
