YEREVAN. – The first Eurasian youth convention, entitled “One Step Forward,” will kick off in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan on Friday. 

Delegations from Armenia, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, and Georgia will attend the event.

The ambassadors of Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan likewise will be on hand at the official opening of the convention.

The event includes symposiums, roundtable discussions, and talks devoted to Eurasian integration. 

In addition, the event agenda includes the launch of the “Nations’ Friendship Park” project. 

Along the lines of the convention, there are plans to sign an agreement on creating a new multinational “Eurasian Movement,” which will unite young people of different nationalities around the idea of Eurasian integration.
