YEREVAN. – The American national currency’s average exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 411.30/$1 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Thursday; this is a 0.46-percent—or an AMD 2.08—drop from the previous trading session on Tuesday.

The dollar has dropped by more than AMD 5.5 this week alone in Armenia, and it is losing value at a quite rapid pace.   

Thursday’s sales totaled $4.25 million at the stock exchange.

At the cash foreign currency market of Armenia, the US dollar’s selling exchange rate is already at AMD 412/$1, and that of buying is at AMD 409/$1 and at AMD 410/$1, at best.
