YEREVAN. – Armenian National Security Council (NSC) Secretary Arthur Baghdasaryan on Thursday received a delegation led by Tomasz Tomczykiewicz,  the Secretary of State at the Polish Ministry of Economy, and the Polish Co-Chair of the Armenian-Polish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation.

The parties discussed the development of Armenian-Polish relations and the prospects for economic cooperation, NSC press service informs. 

The interlocutors recorded that Armenia and Poland possess a potential and prospects for enhancing bilateral ties. According to the parties, Poland’s investment policy toward Armenia’s economy and the targeted assistance to small and medium-sized businesses occupy a special place in the development of Armenian-Polish relations.  

Both sides agreed that the making of bilateral cooperation become more active, the setting up of Armenian-Polish and Polish-Armenian business chambers of commerce and industry, and the signing—on Thursday in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan—of a memorandum on cooperation will play an important role in the development of Armenian-Polish relations.
