YEREVAN. – At present, more than a thousand employees from the Armenian capital city Yerevan’s Nairit Rubber Factory are on a protest march toward the Government building, Factory Press Secretary Anush Harutyunyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In her words, the factory workers demand the payment of their salaries for ten months, and also demand that the factory, which does not operate for virtually the past three years, resumes operation.

To the query as to whether the protest march will head in another direction after the Government building, Harutyunyan responded as follows:

“Probably not. We believe the Government will give us a clear answer.”
