A tragic road accident occurred Tuesday in Armenia’s Lori Region (PHOTOS).

The driver of an Opel went off road, on the Spitak-Vanadzor highway at around 2am, crashed into rocks, and rolled for approximately thirty meters, Armenian News-NEWS.am’s Lori regional reporter informs.     

As a result, Vanadzor city residents Aghasi Sargsyan 25, and Suren Ghalayan, 24, who were in the vehicle, died on the spot. Yurik Hovhannisyan, 24, on the other hand, sustained injuries and was transferred to the Spitak city medical center.  

As a result of the accident, two people were thrown out of the car, its wheels were broken, and the natural gas tank—which fueled the vehicle—was stripped out of the car and thrown out.
