YEREVAN. – The proposals by Armenia’s opposition Freedom Party Chairman, ex-presidential contender, former PM Hrant Bagratyan are consistent with the policy of the Government, Premier Tigran Sargsyan stated during Thursday’s interim Cabinet session.  

This announcement was made during the approval of the conclusion with respect to Bagratyan’s draft law on regulating the offshore companies’ activities in the mining industry of Armenia.

Sargsyan said there are corruption risks in exports and these risks need to be neutralized. To this end, he commissioned acting Finance Minister Vache Gabrielyan to study Hrant Bagratyan’s proposals and to collaborate with him.
