YEREVAN. – The Armenian Police are preparing reports in connection with eighteen cases of election violations, which were reported as of 1։30pm in Sunday’s capital city Yerevan Council of Elders election.

Armenian News-NEWS.am was informed about the aforesaid from the Police official website. 

According to this information, there are reports that a citizen was caught with two ballots in an election precinct; election bribes were being distributed at some building courtyards; there was an argument in a precinct, and concerning the video recording of a ballot; people in vehicles nearby some precincts were distributing money; election bribe was given in a beauty parlor; people were driven to a precinct on minibuses; eighteen people voted in a precinct without being registered in the registry; special pens were distributed and there were lineups at some precincts; there were large crowds and numerous vehicles in front of some precincts; and the voters from a retirement home were brought to a precinct on minibuses.   

A respective investigation is launched.
