YEREVAN. – The Armenian Red Cross Society (ARCS) on Wednesday will join the world in celebrating the 150th anniversary of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). 

In this connection, staff members, volunteers and supporters—comprising about 150 participants—of ICRC, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, and ARCS will march in downtown Yerevan on that day.

During the event, the participants will distribute information pamphlets to the passersby. In addition, pavilions will be set up to inform about the activities of ARCS. 

Also, a flash mob will be held at Northern Avenue, and seventy volunteers will form a “cross” and “150.”
