YEREVAN. – There should be several deputy PMs in the government, stated Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan during Wednesday’s first session of the newly appointed Government of Armenia.   

He recalled that President Serzh Sargsyan had noted a number of times about making constitutional changes and increasing the number of deputy PMs.   

As for endowing ministerial powers to the Government Chief of Staff, the Government will submit to the National Assembly a draft on making changes to this effect in Armenia’s respective law.  

Tigran Sargsyan noted that this new minister will coordinate the ongoing reforms in the education, healthcare, and state governance systems.
