YEREVAN. – The Police of Armenia launched the seventh and the eighth criminal cases in connection with the irregularities that were recorded during the capital city Yerevan Council of Elders election, which was conducted on May 5.
Napoleon and Hayk M. had found out, at their election precinct, that there were others’ signatures instead of theirs in the registry, Police Media Department informs.
Separately, Smbat V. informed that he had observed, when voting at his precinct, that another person had signed in the place of his data in the registry.
The Police have launched criminal proceedings into these two incidents, and investigations are underway.
