make preferableYEREVAN. – At the invitation of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko is paying an official visit to Armenia.
On Monday, the two presidents held a private meeting and the official delegations conducted extended-format talks.
Subsequently, the documents on developing cooperation between both countries will be officially signed. Next, Presidents Sargsyan and Lukashenko will give a joint statement to the members of the media on the results of the talks.
Within the framework of his official visit, the Belarusian President will pay a visit to the Armenian Genocide Memorial and pay tribute to the Genocide victims.
On the evening, President Sargsyan will give an official dinner in honor of the Belarusian leader and his delegation.
On Tuesday, Alexander Lukashenko will visit the Armenian nuclear power plant and attend official opening of the Armenian-Belarusian House of Commerce in Yerevan. On the same day, the two presidents will be on hand at the consecration ceremony of the newly built Surb Hovhannes Mkrtich (Saint John the Baptist) Church in Abovyan city.
