YEREVAN. – The Armenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a discussion devoted to the controversial proposed law “On Alternative Tax Inspections in Armenia.” 

The State Revenue Committee (SRC) representatives argue that if the aforesaid bill is passed in the country, separate fines and penalties will not be imposed upon the employers during inspections, the Chamber news service informs. 

The businessmen, however, claim that if this law is passed, the precepts of alternative inspections will be violated.

But the SRC representatives assured that they may also include the auditing firms in the inspection processes.

Executive Director Arayik Vardanyan of the Armenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry expressed willingness to regularly organize such discussions, and to present the general queries and proposals to the corresponding higher instances.
