YEREVAN. – The American national currency’s average exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 417.25/$1 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Monday.

The aforesaid exchange rate is a 0.06-percent, or an AMD 0.24, drop from the previous trading session on June 1.

Monday’s sales totaled $4.2 million at the stock exchange.

Those exchange offices that buy the US dollar at AMD 416/$1 are becoming less at the cash foreign currency market of Armenia. Instead, the American currency is primarily bought at AMD 415/$1. And, for the most part, the dollar is sold at AMD 418/$1.
