YEREVAN. – Armenia’s international reserves made up about $1.638 billion in April 2013, the Central Bank  (CB) reports. 

As a result, the amount of these reserves remained virtually unchanged as compared to the previous month.  

But substantial changes have occurred in the makeup of these reserves. The CB cash funds were $643 million in April, thereby increasing by $85 million from the previous month. 

The securities, however, continued to drop and, for the first time in 2013, they are below $1 billion, and total $980.9 million. The securities reduced by close to $89 million, as compared to the previous month.
