YEREVAN. – The French well-known Carrefour hypermarket chain is already in Armenia.

Economy Minister Vahram Avanesyan noted the aforesaid during Wednesday’s National Assembly session devoted to the budget discussions.

In his words, the Carrefour staff are visiting the ministry and asking questions. In its turn, the ministry is trying to assist them and answer the queries with respect to the economic climate. 

In Avanesyan’s view, the transnational corporations’ entry to Armenia could cause significant changes.  

“Working with transnational corporations will be one of our priority directions, but we will work on individual basis,” Vahram Avanesyan added.
