If Genocide Resolution is passed by the U.S. House Committee on Foreign Affairs, Ankara will primarily recall Turkish Ambassador to U.S. Namik Tan as one of the first measures.

According to TRT, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu recalled Washington that bilateral cooperation plays major role in the relations between the U.S. and Turkey, saying, “Any problem that U.S. touches upon on the global map, its solution requires cooperation with Turkey.”
