YEREVAN. – The World Economic Forum has kicked off in Dalian, China.
Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, who is in China on a working visit, also attended the official opening of the event.
Prior to the start of the forum, however, Sargsyan met with Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum, informs the Armenian Government press service.
Schwab and Armenia’s PM exchanged views on the present-day economic developments and the likely challenges facing global economy.
The interlocutors also reflected on the economic structure and the envisioned programs of Armenia, and the steps being taken toward the diversification of the country’s economy.
