A delegation from Pirelli Company will arrive in Armenia to visit the Nairit chemical [rubber] plant in capital city Yerevan.  

The company’s press service confirmed this information to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“Earlier, we informed about the delegation’s visit to Nairit in fall. But this was about a visit, not negotiations,” stated Ralph Traviati, Head of Pirelli’s International Corporate Press Office, in a written comment.     

But the date of the visit is not yet determined.

He mentioned that the Russian Rosneft Company likewise is interested in this visit.

The company’s press release, which was issued on September 3, informs about the meeting that was held in Moscow between the heads of Rosneft and Pirelli. 

During the talk, the parties had also discussed possible cooperation. In this context, it was mentioned that the Pirelli representatives are preparing to visit Nairit in fall, to assess investment opportunities.
